Who this agreement is with
Navaroa is operated by Kristopher Sando, trading as Navaroa, a sole trader based in New Zealand. Navaroa is not currently a registered company. In these terms, "we," "us," and "Navaroa" mean Kristopher Sando trading as Navaroa. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
What Navaroa is
Navaroa is a free tool that generates a personalised, general-information checklist for people moving house within or into New Zealand, based on the answers you give it. It's a planning aid, not a service that arranges, books, or is responsible for any part of your actual move.
Not professional advice
Everything on Navaroa — the checklist, task guidance, location pages, and any other content — is general information only. It is not legal, financial, tax, immigration, or other professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for it. Rules referenced on the site (for example around tenancy law, IRD tax residency, biosecurity requirements, or immigration status) can change, and your own situation may differ from the general case described. Before making a decision based on anything you read here, verify it with the official source — the relevant government agency, or your own lawyer, accountant, licensed immigration adviser, or insurer as appropriate.
Third-party links and affiliate relationships
Navaroa links out to third-party providers (removalists, insurers, cleaners, storage companies, and similar) to help you compare options. We don't control these providers, and we're not responsible for the accuracy of their listings, their pricing, or the quality of their service. Some of these links are, or may become, commercial/affiliate relationships — see our Affiliate Disclosure. Any transaction you make with a third-party provider is between you and them, governed by their own terms.
No warranty
Navaroa is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the information it provides is complete, current, or accurate for your specific situation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Navaroa and Kristopher Sando are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content, or your dealings with any third-party provider linked from it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot legally be excluded.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when using the questionnaire (so the checklist it generates is actually useful to you), and not to misuse the site — for example, attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and branding of Navaroa belong to Kristopher Sando trading as Navaroa, unless otherwise stated. You're welcome to use the site for your own personal moving planning; you don't have permission to republish or resell its content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
